1991年百利金的美國客戶要求訂購透明綠色的M800,於是2000支的透明綠售至美國，當時百利金並未將該批產品定位為限量筆，而當時美國的客戶自己卻將剛批產品定位為限量，在當時為該批產品產生了更高的附加價值，也開始了百利金限量筆的生產。
